Agamed promotes and subsidises renewable energies to improve emissions in the management of Torrevieja water.

As part of our commitment to transforming energy use on the planet, we encourage a change in energy model, through consumption of green energy with guarantees of origin (GO), certifying that the electricity used for the complete water cycle has been produced from renewable, high-efficiency sources.

Another initiative is sustainable mobility, involving route optimisation for journeys by the Agamed transport fleet and the incorporation of green vehicles. Optimising routes in such a large town as Torrevieja has required the assembly and commissioning of various charging stations in the company’s water service warehouse facilities.

Installation of the electric vehicle charging stations was subsidised by IVACE through the 2018 programme for installing such infrastructure.
